Classes at St Brides.
All classes for the September to December term have now started.
Due to Council re-organisation resulting in significant changes in staffing levels at the centre, including the loss of full time members of office staff, there was some confusion and disruption to the processes for people signing up for and paying for some of the classes this term. Please accept our apologies for this, and for any miscommunications that may have occurred, and be assured that clear instructions will be issued directly to each class member at the end of this term on how to register and pay for classes that start in January 2017.

Bookings for Auditorium
We are not currently able to accept bookings for the auditorium as the procedures and responsibilities for administering auditorium rentals is under review. We have had a few notes of interest for next year from companies that have had regular bookings, and these have been duly noted. Those companies will be contacted soon with an answer to their request.
We accept that this is extremely frustrating for companies who need to plan their schedules some time in advance, but given the fact that the building’s primary function is as a community centre, that it is a Council owned building, and the relevant departments who manage, administer and maintain the premises are undergoing comprehensive reviews as part of the Council’s transformation agenda, with no guarantees about final staffing levels across the city or in any one building other than an overall reduction, we hope that some understanding towards staff who are working their hardest to manage and maintain the primary service to the public during these challenging and uncertain times can be shown.
